After a long hiatus, market day is back online!
As of August 2011, we are in Madison, Wisconsin for a sabbatical year. A full sabbatical year: one of the major benefits of my work as university professor. And we are spending it, no less, in a state whose motto is inspired by a culinary tradition. Life is good.
One of our first stops in town [map
here] was the Farmers' Market on Capitol Square in downtown Madison.
Saturdays are Market Day. Vendors sell mostly vegetables and fruit, but you can also get local honey, baked bread, cheese and meat.
